Probation Vacation: Lost In Asia is a multimedia project which combines a monograph of stories and photographs with a 12 Episode series of videos. The artists (who in 2011, left their homeland behind indefinitely to explore, paint and document the metro systems of Asia) utilize videos and printed matter to give a personal account of their time spent abroad. For five years (2011-2015) the artists traveled to 11 countries and 37 cities to fulfill their quest of chronicling the adventure and drama surrounding painting subways in Asia . The intimate photos and text juxtapose the action-packed live footage in a way that gives the viewer an honest glimpse into the artists' experiences on their 5 year journey to the biggest cities and most obscure regions of the world's largest continent.
