Never Going Home (our odyssey may end tomorrow or it could go on forever) is a full length documentary film shot on location in Japan, New York and Chicago. The documentary observes the everyday life of two lovers in a world of their own as outsiders and outlaws in a foreign culture, without a home or refuge besides each other and their art. The relationship between society and an individual is examined through the lens of media commentary and news coverage. The couple's world is an isolated utopia that the media moulds into its own reality. Between these two polarities, separated into parallel realities, they reflect their own identities. This film has been shown as a video installation at SIC in Helsinki, Finland.
